So Busy...

I've been so busy it feels like I've been going and going since Feb. Its been crazy. There was pre-faire then there was big faire then there was Corona faire, then karate stuff, then bellydance kaleidascope, then big bear faire. Bellydancing events are at least coming to an end for a while because most of our group are monsters at Knotts Halloween Haunt so no practices or events until Nov. But work-wise things are only going to get more crazy. Starting Sept. 1st I will have my own program with Chino Hills parks & rec. I'm a little worried about not making enough money but I'm hoping it all works out ok.

On the home front, I'm living in the house but I'm not sure for how long. I'm sort of stuck just sitting here waiting for everybody else to do what they have to do to take care of it. Its really nice to be in a house instead of a apartment. The dogs are happy to have a yard and have so much space. The house still needs so mich work, its so old and just really needs some TLC and some money. I'm doing what i can but most of it will have to wait.

I'm also working on getting my walk team together for the "Our Local Fight" walk for breast cancer. We have a few team members already but I'd really like more. And with the economy the way it is I really hope we can still raise some money to help the Foundation. I'm doing keychains & pendants with breast cancer related pictures. I can't wait to get some done so I can show you all!

So, I've lived in this apartment for over a year and yesterday I realized just how much stuff I still haven't gotten for it that I need. So heres my list of 13 things I still need for my apartment.

1. rice cooker (I eat rice at like 5 or 6 times a week) 2. curtains (I have sheets on my bedrooms window) 3. coffee table 4. crockpot (the lady i used to live with wont give mine back & it had sentimental value cuz my uncle terry got it for me) 5. dining room chairs ( i got a great wood table from my dad, unfinished so i can henna-fy it but he couldnt afford the chairs) 6. pasta pot (at least 3-4 nites a week) 7. steak knives (i use the big kinives to cut my meat) 8. food processor 9. BBQ (i use my mini george forman now) 10. iron 11. a lamp in the living room ( the tv is my light in there) 12. a clock (my phone is the only clock in the whole house) 13. tv stand (you don't want to know how unsafe it is) If you buy from my shop (http://www.cutthroatbodyart.etsy.com/) please know that you are contributing to me hopefully one day getting some of these things. Saturday during the 3 year old class we had a visitor:

He didn't want to leave, so we got him into a box and took the box outside, but.....he liked the box so much he didn't want to get out. He stayed in the box the whole class till we had to go, the he hung out inside the gate and monday we came in and he had flown away. That was very wordy but if it wasn't the pictures wouldn't have made any sense

I AM SOOO EXCITED!!

I got my first treasury today. A treasury is group of items you like that fit into a category you make up.

And i discovered that i made it into somebody elses treasury for the first time!

This Weekend!

Busy busy weekend. First I went to the parade on Friday. Its so funny because no matter how big Corona gets this parade is still just a cheesy home town parade that anybody can be in for no apparent reason at all. This is Sharon Martinez. She has Breast cancer and basically was told that there isn't anything more they can do for her. But she is the sweetest nicest lady I've ever met. And she has helped raise a ton of money for The Foundation.(p.s. the walk for breast cancer is coming up and i'm looking for team members)

And we had a member of the 501st:Sat. Night me and Rob Roy went to my moms for the UFC fight:
